Lindsey and Lauren

Here is a candid picture of Lauren. She isn't even in dance yet, but we know how much she loves to dress up. Plus we couldn't leave her out of the sister pictures. She has been asking me for about 6 months now if she can take ballet. She is now finally old enough to be able to take ballet, we will start her in the fall. I will have 4 dancers pretty soon.

Kirsten in her ballet and jazz costume

Kirsten took ballet and jazz this year again. She is so funny. She complains about taking ballet sometimes but she is getting so much better at it. I can see this little glimmer in her eyes that she likes it more than she is telling me. My girls all have a natural turn-out for ballet (the position of the feet). I think that I have talked her into taking it again next year. We will see. I keep telling her the core of all dance is ballet. She loves jazz the best. This year for her jazz number they are dancing to "It's the Hard-Knock Life" from Annie. They are all orphans. That is why she is wearing the rag outfit. I just love the outfit, Kirsten loves it too. And the dance is just really really cute.

Caroline in her ballet costume

This is our Sweet Caroline! Don't you just want to eat her up? She is just too darling for words!
This year her ballet class are swans. It is just the sweetest little dance.

Spring Break 2009

Rosemary Beach, Florida

This picture was actually taken today, Easter Sunday after church. The wind seems to always be blowing on us!
We had a wonderful vacation on the beautiful beaches of Florida. Our first day there was very chilly. It was only 60 degrees and very very strong winds which made it feel bitterly cold. We were freezing during these pictures. The rest of the week was perfect weather.
I can't believe that the kids only have 6 weeks left of school before summer break. I am going to enjoy every minute of it because I know time is going to fly by. This is our busy time of the year. We have end of the year school activities, dance recitals, and I have to get excited about running Girls Camp for 240 Young Women and leaders. So much to do!! Ready or not here it comes!!!

Windy Beach Pictures!

Brian and I don't have that many pictures of just the two of us. We were very lucky to get a few in on this beach trip. The wind was blowing like crazy. So other than my hair looking ridiculous. We were very happy to have a few turn out.

Kirsten pondering at the beauty of the sky.
Once again a very windy picture of the girls. We just love the ocean.

Newsroom - LDS Church

Yesterday Elder Neil L. Andersen became the 97th Apostle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is such a wonderful man and I feel blessed to have known he and his family. His daughter Camey is a very dear friend of mine. When I was 14 years old, I was able to travel to France to visit them while serving as a mission president in Bordeaux, France. Click on the link below to watch President Monson sustain him into the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. You may have to click on the video link once on the page. Also, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page there is a link to a press conference with Elder Andersen.
