4th of July and Brian's B-day

We have been having a great summer. I can not believe that we only have like a month left until school starts back up again. Time has just flown. The older two girls have been taking tumbling all summer. They go everyday of the week except Friday. They are getting so worn out. But they are just loving it. They are both soooo close to getting a back handspring on the ground without a spot.
So, we have an awesome ward here. Every 4th of July we have a great party at a families home in our ward that lives on 5 acres. We always have great food and lots of treats like popcorn and cotton candy machines. There are so many fun activities. The best one is the slip n slide which is the highlight of the day. On the slip n slide the kids add tons and tons of dish soap to make it really slippery. You can't tell from the photos but the slide is on a downhill slope which made it so much fun. Not to mention the water fight that the adults and youth get into. So scroll down to find all the crazy pictures.
This was taken right before the fireworks started.
I can not forget to mention that Brian had a birthday on July 1st. We took him to dinner at his favorite pizza place and got into a water gun fight.
Here is Kirsten and her good friends from church. They were having a great time while waiting for our firework show to start.

Kirsten was not wanting to get her picture taken. Can you tell?

Lauren on her tummy. She just loved this!
Caroline and her little friend.

This was the cutest picture. This was taken before we added the dish soap. Kirsten and her friend Bri kept holding hands with Lauren and helping her get to the bottom. Pretty cute.
Carrying her to the top of the slide.

Lindsey and her friend Xani.
I wish that I had a live shot of how awesome this looked. That is the back of Lindsey as she and the rest of our ward are flying down the slide. It was out of control.

Lindsey is having a great time!
Classic Kirsten.
So much fun on the tummy.
I thought for sure that someone was going to break a bone. The youth and adults were all going down the slip n slide. Some of the young men were just flying and this one happened to hit Kirsten and her friend pretty hard. He felt really bad and this is how they ended at the bottom.
Just a shot of some of our youth from our ward having a blast.
